The very first step is to make sure we’re a good fit to work together. To get started, book a free consult call so we can discuss your design goals, your vision for your new site, and how I can help you bring it all to life.
Next, I’ll send over a customized proposal with a project description and timeline. Once you approve the proposal, you’ll receive a contract and invoice to pay the deposit that secures your spot in my schedule.

discovery
You’ll get access to the welcome portal, where you can find a Squarespace resource library, a comprehensive guide to my design process with a full project calendar, and tons of tips for putting your content together.
Then you’ll spend some time with my in-depth supportive materials, like questionnaires and workbooks. These will help you to gain clarity on your brand values, messaging, and visuals — all to guide you in creating your content for the site. We’ll also schedule our strategy meeting and content coaching.

content & clarity
We’ll start with a strategy call to align on your vision for the site, drawing on your client questionnaires, inspiration websites, as well as my expertise and keyword research. We define a design strategy and direction for brand visuals.
Then I’ll lead you through a content coaching session, a 2-hour collaborative brainstorm in which we develop content for your website, either drafting a page from scratch or workshopping your already written copy.

design & revision
Your hard work is over! With that creative vision in place and content ready to go, I move forward with building and designing the website.
Throughout this process, we’ll have weekly check-in calls as well as two separate sessions of feedback and revision to ensure that each element aligns with your design strategy.

LAUNCH & BEYOND
Once all the revisions are complete, it’s time for the best part: launching the site! I’ll teach you how to use your site with a 1:1 training session so you can move forward feeling confident and empowered by your new business investment.

My clients are awesome, passionate small business owners and creative professionals who care about making the world better through their work. Clients appreciate my straightforward communication, meticulous attention to detail, professionalism and positivity.

Payment plans can be arranged if you would prefer to pay in more than two installments. Like all clients, 50% of your investment must be paid before work begins and all payments must be completed in full before your website is launched.

I require all my projects to have the content (photos, text, calls to action, etc.) ready to go so the process can go smoothly and quickly once I start designing. Every website I create is content-led, meaning I design the site around your content, NOT the other way around.
You should allow around 2-4 weeks to put together your content, depending on if you’re starting from scratch, adapting an existing website, and how comfortable you are with writing. All of my clients receive content support because I find that most people need it! Whether through supportive materials (questionnaires & content workbooks) or our 1:1 content coaching session, I will guide you through the process and ensure we put your voice front and center.
If you’re truly uncomfortable with writing your own content for the website, I highly suggest hiring a skilled copywriter before working with me. Please note that I do not use AI-generated photos or text whatsoever.

Plan to spend 4-6 hours on brand discovery, which includes filling out in depth questionnaires and thoughtfully engaging with workbooks. Meetings and coaching sessions will take 3-4 hours. The whole discovery phase lasts 3-4 weeks.
The actual Website Build will take two weeks, including feedback sessions and two rounds of revision. Launch and training will take 3-4 hours on one day the week following our last revision session.
In total: 6-7 weeks from start to finish!

At this moment, I only design on Squarespace. It’s so easy to use and requires no continuous updating, making it ideal for small businesses or those who like low-maintenance tech.
Simply put, I think it’s a superior platform — it’s what I use and it’s what I recommend to all of my clients!

It’s always amazing to provide your own high quality images taken by a photographer whose work you love, so if you can, please do! Otherwise, I’ll source the images for your site from high-quality stock images, which can be paid, royalty-free, or a combination of both according to your preferences.
